Truman H. McMurry, 76, of Lake City, died Thursday, Dec. 21, 2006, in Lake Side Nursing Home. He was born at Parsons, Tenn., to the late Travis and Vada (Box) McMurry.

Also preceding him in death were his son, Ricky McMurry; grandchild, Melanie Murphy; sisters, Faustina Gamble and Lossie Markum; and a brother, Huel Jay McMurry.

He was of the Baptist belief.

He is survived by his wife, Billie Montgomery McMurry; a daughter, Ann Davis of Lake City; grandchildren, Courtney Mangrum, Casey Rand, Sheena Thompson, Cheyenne and Travis McMurry; and great-grandchildren, Hunter Rand, Trevor Mangrum, Aiden Thompson and Alexis Rand.

A graveside service was held at 10:30 p.m. Saturday at the Cardwell Cemetery with Rev. Leon Harvey officiating.

Pallbearers were Ricky Rand, Larry Nall, Gary Davis, Doug Stone, Louis Ladd and Randy Gambill.

Heath Funeral Home of Paragould was in charge of arrangements.
