Bald Knob

James Albert Bigham, Jr. 52, of Bald Knob, died at White County Hospital in Searcy On Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006. Born Nov. 13, 1954, in Pontiac, Mich., to the late James Albert Bigham, Sr. and Josephine Sample Bigham, he was a longtime White County resident. Mr. Bigham attended the Arkansas State University of Beebe, where he earned an Associate Degree in Fine Arts, and was involved in the trucking industry.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Ena G. Pruitt Bigham of Bald Knob; his mother, Josephine Bigham of Searcy; a son, Randy Griffin of Bald Knob; three daughters, Betty Merrill and husband, Lonnie, of Bald Knob, Bobbi Coleman and husband, Steven, of Judsonia, Angie Moon and husband, Michael, of Judsonia; a sister, Linda Ritchie and husband, Tim, of Searcy; an uncle, Pete Sample of Senath, Mo.; and eight grandchildren.

Mr. Bigham was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebeckah Griffin.

Services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 29, at Victory Life Church in Bald Knob with Rev. Don Pettit and Gary Pruitt officiating. Burial was at Providence Cemetery in Judsonia.

Faith Funeral Service of Manila was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Alvie Daniels, Steven Coleman, Lonnie Merrill, Timmy Lefford, Jesse Johnson, Randy Griffin, Kim Whitener, and Dalton Shepard.

Honorary pallbearers were Joe James, Shawn Lawrence, and Michael Moon.
