Wilda Amelia Hutton, 73, of Manila, died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2006, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Manila, she was the daughter of the late Epter and Mae Ashabranner Davis, and was a lifelong resident. She retired after 35 years with the Mississippi County Equal Opportunity Commission. She was a graduate of Manila High School and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, C.M. Hutton, of the home; a son, Randy Hutton, of Manila; a daughter, Rhonda Noel, of Manila; a grandson, David Hutton, of Manila; a sister, Virginia Foley, of Cabot.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Monday at Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. William Piercy officiating. Burial was in the Manila Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Bobby Walton, Jason Walton, Greg Smith, Brent Farmer, Ronnie Williams and Freddie Whistle.
