Lucille Bell, 85, of Bono died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2006, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.
She lived in Jonesboro most of her life and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was a member of the Needlecraft Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph "Pappy" Bell; her parents, James and Ina Battles; and a sister, Margaret Battles.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, James Ralph and Pauline Bell of Bono; a daughter, Ina Ishmael of Crawley, Texas; a brother, James "Sonny Battles of Russellville; sisters, Neva Sue Reed, Ida Lee Guthrie and Clora June White, all of Monette, and Helen McDaniel of Harrisburg; grandchildren, Kenneth Carter, Randall Carter, Tammy Moore, Ralph Preston Bell, Cindy Hayse, John David Ishmael, Jeffery Ishmael, and Jennifer Grant; and 17 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held at 1 p.m. Friday at Trinity Cemetery near Bono with Bill Thornton officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
