Mary Kathryn Drummond - Monette

Mary Kathryn (Kathy) Drummond, 61, of Monette died Friday, July 14, 2006, at UAMS Hospital at Little Rock. She was a homemaker and member of Monette First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Lillian McCord and Chester McCord; a sister, Linda Anderson; and a nephew, Carter Lane McCord.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Drummond of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Bryan Matthew and Ann Marie Drummond, both of Jonesboro; two granddaughters, Sophia Brooke Drummond and Natalie Lauren Drummond, both of Jonesboro; two sisters, Patricia McClelland of Jonesboro and Connie Hurst of Monette; and a brother, Ronnie McCord of Monette.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Monday in the sanctuary of the First Baptist Church of Monette under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette. The Rev. Captain Lovell officiated. Burial was in the Monette Cemetery.

Pallbearers were nephews, James Paul McCord, Clint McCord, Bob Hurst, Jr., Mark Hurst, Terry Anderson Jr., Randy Anderson, Andy Hatch and Keith Rubottom.
