Mary Weeks - Osceola

Mary Weeks, 64, of Osceola, died Tuesday, June 20, 2006, at the Osceola Nursing Center. Born April 2, 1942, in McRae, she was the daughter of Bud and Josephine Moody Prince. She was a longtime area resident and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fran William Weeks, and two brothers, Loyde and Floyd Prince.

Survivors include her children, Sandra Faulks of Des Moines, Iowa, Charles Weeks of Jonesboro, and Mary Thrasher of Hardy; five brothers, Jim Prince of Cache, Okla., Carl Prince of Drasco, Doyle Prince of Osceola, Wayne Prince of Longview, Texas, and Earl Prince of Lake City; four sisters, Pat Earwood of Conyers, Ga., Elaine Doss of Thayer, Mo., Lilly Anderson of Lake City, and Wanda Vanderburg of Thayer, Mo.; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette under the direction of Cobb Funeral Home of Blytheville.
