Jewell Jackson - Senath

Hatred Jewell Jackson, 83, of Senath died Sunday, May 21, 2006, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett. Born at Moorehouse, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Homer and Gertrude Dilts Cox and had lived most of her life in the Cardwell and Arbyrd areas. She was the widow of John Ruben Jackson, Sr., was a homemaker and had attended Calvary Full Gospel Church in Cardwell and Silverdale Baptist Church near Arbyrd.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Jackson, three brothers, three grandsons, and a great-grandson.

She is survived by two sons, John R. Jackson, Jr. and David Glenn Jackson, both of Paragould; three daughters, Paula Fivecoat of Senath, Mo., Sharyn Denney and Carole Lutekemeyer, both of St. Louis, Mo.; a sister, Norma Lee Carmichael of St. Louis, Mo., 21 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville. Burial was in the Cardwell Cemetery.
