Chloe Laverne Garner - Gosnell

Chloe Laverne Garner, 94, of Gosnell, formerly of Manila, died Monday, May 15, 2006, at the Gosnell Nursing Home. Born in Elizabeth, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Albert and Roxie Bedwell Scott and had been a longtime Manila resident before making her home in the Blytheville area in 1974 and was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Manila.

She is survived by three sons, Carl Garner and wife, Mary Elizabeth, of St. Charles, Mo., John Garner and wife, Janette, of Greenville, Miss., and David Garner and wife, Beverly Dawn, of Blytheville; nine grandchildren, Carlton, Allen Garner, Amy Garner Lade, Ron Walton, Marty Garner, Rusty Garner, David Alan Garner, Jr., Jennifer Garner Calvert, Jessica Ann Yates, Adam Johnson Yates; and 16 great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Howard Funeral Chapel in Manila. Burial was in the Manila Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Carl Allen Garner, David Alan Garner, Jr., Adam Johnson Yates, Amy Garner Lade, Jennifer Garner Calvert, and Jessica Ann Yates.
