James T. "Jimmy" Brown - Caraway

James T. "Jimmy" Brown, 63, of Caraway, died Tuesday, April 25, 2006, at NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Viola, he lived all his life in Caraway.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Betty; a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Joyce Brown of Caraway; a son, Larry Brown, of Osceola; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Ray Birdno of Rivervale; daughter and son-in-law, Janet and William Mullins of Lake City; brother, Robert Brown of Viola; sisters, Marie Dunkerson of Caraway, Lavora East of St. Peters, Mo., Frances Flynn of Lake City, Trudy Williams of Jonesboro, Virginia Varner of Batesville, Colene Thompson of Paragould, and Becky Boatman of Caraway; grandchildren, Jeremy Brown of Caraway, Michael Brown of Orlando, Fla., Brad Dillinger of Gepp, Chris Lane and Austin Lane of Lake City, Nikki Brown of Centerville, Ga., and Kayla Birdno of Rivervale.

He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Brown; his parents, Earnest and Pearlie Brown; and sisters, Margaret King, Debbie Brown and Roberta Davis.

A graveside service was held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Caraway Cemetery with Brother Ricky Stevens officiating. Gregg Funeral Home of Monette was in charge of arrangements.
