Eddie Dewayne Atkinson - Gulfport, Miss.

Eddie Dewayne Atkinson, 38, of Gulfport, Miss., died March 26, 2006, in Gulfport. He was a native of Monette where he met and married his ex-wife Tammy Atkinson Skinner of nine years. They had one daughter, Patricia DeAnn Atkinson-Skinner. He was a bails bondsman for the state of Mississippi and received a license in heating and air-conditioning and owned his own business. He was a member of the Leachville Church of God.

He is survived by his only daughter, Patricia DeAnn Atkinson-Skinner; his mother, Carol Ann Dean of Reed Springs, Mo.; his father Eddie Don Atkinson of Vancleave, Miss.; a brother, Eual Dean of Reed Springs, Mo.; four sisters, Barbara Ann Bullard of Cleburne, Texas, Sharon Dean Davis of Reed Springs, Mo., Chrystal Atkinson and Dawn Atkinson, both of Mississippi; and his grandmother, Ruby Atkinson of Leachville.

A memorial service will be held from 2-5 p.m. April 22 at the Leachville Church of God on main street in Leachville. All family and friends are more than welcome to attend to pay respect in the honor of Eddie Dewayne Atkinson, also known as Eddie Mac or Little Eddie.
