Thomas "Tommy Fredrick Herndon - Osceola

Thomas "Tommy" Fredrick Herndon, 62, of Osceola, died March 11, 2006, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis. Born Sept. 4, 1943, in Union City, Tenn., he was retired from American Greetings in Osecola. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church of Osceola.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Fredrick Herndon and Edith Dale Hasell.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Herndon of Osceola; a daughter, Jenny Leann Herndon of Osceola; two sons, Sam Moore of Manila and Jeremy Brian Herndon of Osceola; two sisters, Betty George of Kansas City, Mo., and Anne Miler of Glasgow, Ky.; a brother, James Herndon of Millington, Tenn.; and five grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today (Tuesday) at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with Brother Wayne Moore officiating. Burial will be in Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola.
