Sharon Dewitt Fulling - Blytheville

Sharon Dewitt Fulling, 67, of Blytheville, died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2005, at the Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. Born to Bryan and Mary Witsman DeWitt in Decker, Ind., she had lived in Blytheville for the past 25 years. She was the Dean for Nursing, Allied Health, HPER, at Arkansas Norhteastern College, held a Masters Degree in Nursing Education and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Blytheville.

Her husband of 40 years, Donald Eugene Fulling, father, Bryan Dewitt, and brother Dannie DeWitt, all preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children, Gregory L. Fulling of Plano, Texas, Steven C. Fulling of Blytheville, Beth Ann Onks of Savannah, Ga.; her mother, Mary Witsman DeWitt Litherland; and grandchildren, Jessica Fulling, Bryan Fulling, Tacie Fulling, Tessa Fulling, Hannah Onks, and Jillian Onks.

The funeral was held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church sanctuary and conducted by the Arkansas Northeastern College Nursing Department that was such an integral part of her life. Interment will be at a later date to be announced, in Highland Memorial Cemetery in Mt. Carmel, Ill.
