Janice Lee Riggs - Paragould

Janice Lee Riggs, 53, of Paragould died Sept. 10, 2005, at her residence. She was a homemaker, of the Baptist faith, and had lived in Paragould most of her life.

She is survived by her mother, Guelda Deason, of Houston, Texas; a sister, Rhonda Deason, of Houston, Texas; a brother, David Deason, of Houston, Texas; a son, Shawn P. Riggs and wife, Shari, of Loxley, Ala.; a granddaughter, Seaaira Hobbs of Statesboro, Ga.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bennie H. Deason, and a son, Dustin Lin Riggs.

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Friday at Cockrum Cemetery near Cardwell with Rev. William Pierce officiating. Gregg Funeral Home of Monette was in charge of arrangements.
