William Richard Fry- Lake City

William Richard Fry, 77, of Lake City, died Monday, Aug. 8, 2005, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was retied from Coca-Cola Bottling Company, a member of Lake City First Assembly of God Church and had lived in the Lake City and Black Oak area a lifetime.

Survivors include his wife, Lula Fry of the home; a brother, Clarence Fry of Saffell; a son, Mike Fry of Jonesboro; two daughters, Linda "Wendy" Carner of Lake City and Judy Speakes of Marmaduke; 10 grandchildren, Justin Fry, Cody Fry, Cindy Terrell, LeAnn Mansfield, Jon Carner, Josh Carner, Misty Secrease, Jeremy Speakes, Tim Speakes, and Anthony Mansfield; four great-grandchildren, Sean Terrell, Layne and Adam Terrell and Cailyn Secrease.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Flora Fry, and a brother, Gordon Fry.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Monette with Rev. Steve Crawford and Rev. Junior Friends officiating. Burial was in Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland.

Pallbearers were Gerald Eaker, Gary Metz, Johnny McClung, Delbert Timms, Maxie Jones, and Richard Varner.

Honorary pallbearers were grandchildren, Warren Short, Ezra Metz, Julius Hutcheson, Coleman Halloway, Fred Farmer, Dr. Dennis Patten, and Dr. Jeffery Cohen.
