Kirlen Dean Bates, 52, of Manila, died Sunday, June 26, 2005, at her home. Born at Manila, she was the daughter of the late Johnny and Olive Dean Travis Finley. She had lived most of her life in Manila, was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Bates, of the home; three daughters, Lisa Pierce, Patricia Smith and Penny Bates, all of Manila; a brother, Doyle Finley of Manila; two sisters, Della Wells of Manila and Linda Benham of Conway; and three granddaughters.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Manila Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral service of Manila.

The family will receive visitors from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
