Virginia Almeda Giles - Leachville

Virginia Almeda Giles, 90, of Leachville, widow of Luster Giles, died Tuesday, March 29, 2005, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Carlsbad, N.M., she was the daughter of the late Richard and Mary Skelton Taylor and had been a longtime Leachville resident and member of the Leachville Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son, Adrian "Bud" Giles of Fennville, Mich.; two daughters, Mary Church of Leachville and Martha "Mott" Stanley of Fennville, Mich.; 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Glenda Cagle, four brothers, two sisters and a grandson, Kim Cagle.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Howard Funeral Service chapel in Leachville with David Lawrence officiating. Burial was in the Leachville Cemetery.
