Zannie Spurlock Crabb - Jonesboro

Zannie Spurlock Crabb, 98, of Jonesboro died Wednesday, March 23, 2005, at Skillcare Nursing Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Booneville, Miss., she had lived in Trumann before moving to Jonesboro eight years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of Providence Baptist Church in Trumann.

Survivors include a daughter, Mildred Coleman of Marion, Ill.; a son, The Rev. Bobby Crabb of Jonesboro; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Crabb; a daughter, Marie Burney; her parents; five sisters; and a brother.

The funeral was held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann with the Rev. Bobby Crabb and the Rev. Bobby Crabb Jr. officiating. Burial was in Holly Springs Cemetery at Harrisburg.

Pallbearers were Keith Burney, Danny Burney, Allen Brown, Jimmy Crowe, Ted Kemp and Michael Barnett.
