Kathleen Nichols Patrick - Lake City

Kathleen Nichols Patrick, 59, of Lake City, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005, at NEA Medical Center.

Born in Osceola, she had lived in Lake City since 1965. She was a former employee of the Singer Company in Trumann and Lincoln Manufacturing and Colson Castor Corporation in Jonesboro. She was a member of Mount Olive Free Pentecostal Church in Needham.

Survivors include her husband, Glenn Patrick, Jr. of the home; a daughter, Diane Davis of Lake City; a stepdaughter, Linda Mae Zipler of Millington, Tenn.; three stepsons, Paul Randall Patrick, Michael W. Patrick and Terry Lee Patrick, all of Millington; three sisters, Mae Riggs of Groveland, Fla., Edna Carr of Orlando, Fla., and Brenda Bowels of Leesburg, Fla.; a brother, Roy Buie of Mascotte, Fla.; and two grandchildren, Nick Davis and Charlie Davis, both of Lake City.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Norman Earl "Buddy" Nichols Sr.; a son, Norman Earl Nichols, Jr.; her parents, Charlie and Mary Shepard Buie; two brothers and two sisters.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann. David Motes and Bill Andrews officiated and burial was in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Benny Davis, Bobby Hedge, Mark Doty, Canny Broughton, Michael Moore and Chris Terrell.
