Ray Fletcher - Jonesboro

Ray Fletcher, 90, of Jonesboro died Thursday, March 3, 2005, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born at Bear Holler, he had lived at Lake City most of his life, had worked in Michigan for 12 years and was retired from FMC Corporation in Jonesboro. He was a member of Nettleton Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Fletcher of Jonesboro; a daughter, Margaret Ann Fletcher Davis of Hampton; two brothers, Doyle Fletcher of Cabot and Cecil Fletcher of Springdale; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and five brothers.

A graveside service was held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Upper Cane Island Cemetery near Lake City with Jimmy Young and Jerry Thompson officiating. Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro was in charge of the arrangements.
