David Barrow - Lake City

David Barrow, 56, of Lake City, died Monday, Feb. 21, 2005, at St. Bernard's Medical Center. He was born in Millington, Tenn., and lived in Orange Park, Fla., before moving back to Lake City in 1987. He was a self-employed painter and a member of Lake City Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mona Barrow, of the home; two sons, Shane Barrow of Lake City and Bruce Barrow of the home; a grandson, Jason Barrow, his m other, Rita Little of Lunsford; two brothers, Lloyd Barrow Jr. of Marietta, Ga., and Robert barrow of Fayetteville, Ga.; two sisters, Linda Swartrz of Sarasota, Fla., and Donna Barrow of Jacksonville, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Leon Barrow, and a sister.

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Emerson Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro with Rev. Van Gilbert and Rev. Bruce Higgins officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Perry Cope, Randy Mink, Phillip Jordan, Shannon Davis, Tim Hughes, and Mike Hughes.

Honorary pallbearers will be Garry Cobb, L.D. Chastain, Ann Chastain, John Davis, and Lavern Davis.

Visitation will be this evening (Tuesday) from 5-8 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home in Lake City.
