Harold Keith Adams - Manila

Harold Keith Adams, 44, of Manila, died Friday, Feb. 11, 2005, at his home. Born at Kennett, Mo., he was a former Atlanta, Ga., resident and had lived in Manila since 1989. He was a graduate of Tucker High School in Tucker, Ga., and attended Arkansas Northeastern College in Blytheville. He received a BS degree in agriculture from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. Mr. Adams was associated with his family's cotton gin and land company in Leachville and was a U.S. Navy veteran serving from 1979 until 1988.

He is survived by his wife, Amanda Bollinger Adams of the home; two sons, Scott Adams with U.S. Navy stationed in Honolulu and Joshua Adams of Snellville, Ga.; three daughters, Nicole Morris and Amanda Paige Adams, both of Snellville, Ga., and Ashley Johnson of Manila; his parents, Boe and Myrna Adams of Leachville; two brothers, Eddie Adams of Leachville and Kenneth Adams of Palm Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Thelma Jean Shingledecker of Monroe, Ga., and Tina Adams of Leachville; and three grandchildren, Madison Adams, Kelsey Adams and Finley Morris.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Leachville First Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Kausler officiating. Burial was in the Leachville Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Leachville.
