Billy Verdone Payne - Leachville

Billy Verdone Payne, 65, of Leachville died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2005, at his home. Born at Paragould he was the son of the late Tom and Myrtle Lambert Payne. He had been a longtime Paragould resident before making his home in Leachville seven years ago. He was a retired meat cutter and had also worked as an auto body repairman.

Mr. Payne donated his body to science. A memorial service will be announced at a later time by Howard Funeral Service of Leachville.

In honor of Mr. Payne, the family requests anyone wishing to leave a lasting memorial consider the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
