Jeannie Alice McCoy Todd - Lake City

Jeannie Alice McCoy Todd, 63, of Lake City, died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2004, at Monette Manor Nursing Center. Born in Caraway, she had lived in Hardy before moving to Lake City 11 years ago. She was a homemaker and member of Bethabara Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, James Hale of Cherokee Village and Rodney Hale of Saddle; two daughters, Kathy Liles of Monette and Lisa Hale of Lake City; a brother, Marvin McCoy of Lake City; a sister, Willard Davis of Lake City; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. and Bessie McCoy, two brothers and a sister.

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Nettleton Cemetery. Burial was under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home of Lake City.

Active pallbearers were Heath Harmon, Phillip Davis, J.J. Davis, Herb Davis Jr., Herb Davis and Jackie Davis.

Honorary pallbearers included Frank Kellems Jr., Mark Liles, Randall Wright and Nathan Camron.
