John Everette "Huck" Huckabee - Little Elm, Texas

John Everette "Huck" Huckabee, 94, of Little Elm, Texas, died Dec. 15, 2004, at R.H.D. Memorial Hospital. He was retired from the city of Kalamazoo, Mich., of the Church of Christ belief, lived in Little Elm, Texas, four years, formerly of Arbyrd, Mo. He was born in Poughkeepsie on May 29, 1910.

He is survived by a sister, Betty Lou Smith of Aurora, Ill., and a daughter, Virginia Edwards of Little Elm, Texas; three grandchildren, Lauri Bowma and Beverly Edrington, and Lisa Beabr; two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Craig and May Huckabee and his wife, Hattie Irene Huckabee.

A graveside service at Monette Cemetery was held at 11 a.m. Monday with Larry Woodward officiating. Burial was in Monette Cemetery
