Louise E. Vandivor - Manila

Louise E. Vandivor, 81, of Manila died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Leachville, she was a homemaker and had worked as an aide for Dr. E.A. Shaneyfelt in Manila. She was a member of Souls Harbor Trinity Church.

Survivors include three sons, Allen Vandivor of Prim Springs, Tenn., Freddie Vandivor of Manila, and Tommy Vandivor of South Bend, Ind.; five daughters, Eva Melton and Anna Seeley, both of Crestview, Fla., Nina Goff and Alice Crouse, both of Corning, and Flora Thomas of Leachville; a sister, Glendola Minyard of Monette; 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David E. Vandivor; a son, Roger Vandivor; her parents, John K. and Dida Samples Edmundson; and two sisters, Lillian Crawford and Hester Bell Eddings.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Souls Harbor Trinity Church with the Rev. Bobby Eddings and Rev. David Fair officiating. Burial was in the Manila Cemetery under the direction of Cobb Funeral Home of Blytheville.
