Charlene Lucille Adams - Jonesboro

Charlene Lucille Adams, 78, of Jonesboro died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2004, at NEA Medical Center. Born at Lake City, she lived her life in the Jonesboro and Lake City areas. She was a member of Prospect Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Derrel Griffin Adams of Jonesboro and Wayne Adams of Las Vegas; two brothers, Boyce Fields of Jonesboro and Max Fields of Eureka, Mo.; a sister, Janice Despain of Fishers, Ind.; two grandchildren, Stephen Adams and Elizabeth Adams, both of Las Vegas; and a great-granddaughter, Ashley Adams of Las Vegas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Ella Mae Fields, and two brothers.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Friday at Emerson Funeral Home's Memorial chapel with Randy Lingenfelter officiating. Burial was in Pine Log Cemetery near Brookland.
