Avis Lavern Price - Senath

Avis Lavern Price, 82, of Senath, formerly of Rector, died Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, at Arkansas Methodist Medical center. Born in Clay County, she was a homemaker and member of Rector General Baptist Church and the Rector EHC Club.

Survivors include two sons, John Earl Price of Lafe and Keith Price of Paragould; a sister, Martha Jane Kennedy of Rector; nine grandchildren, Mike Price, Eric Price, Matt Faries, Corey Price, Jared Price, Kenny walker, Timmy walker, Jennifer Vericker and Michelle trigs; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John w. Price; a son, Garry Price; a daughter, Sheilia Price Faries; her parents Eliaphus Andrew and Addie Futen Edwards; three brothers; three sisters; and two grandchildren.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Irby Funeral Home of Rector, with Marston Carpenter officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery at Rector.

Active pallbearers were Mike Price, Kenny walker, Eric Price, Matt Faries, Corey Price and Jared Price.
