Rose Imogene "Jeanne" Carlson - Leachville

Rose Imogene "Jeanne" Carlson, 79, of Leachville died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2004, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born at Caraway, she was the daughter of the late Thomas L. and Lillie Marshall Conner. She was the widow of Glen Carlson and had lived most of her life in Rockford, Ill., before returning to Leachville following retirement. She was a retired school teacher and a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by a brother, George Conner of Jonesboro; two nieces, Marsha McGaughy of Murphy, Texas, and Cerise Spurgeon of Swanton, Ohio; a nephew, Tommy Conner of Alamo, Tenn.

Mrs. Carlson was preceded in death by her brothers, Joe, Gary and Marshall Conner, and a niece, Cheran McMillian.

A private funeral service will be conducted under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Leachville.
