Allie Ona Ford - Paragould

Allie Ona Ford, 101, of Paragould, formerly of Manila, died Friday, April 23, 2004, at Greene acres Nursing Home in Paragould.

Born at Thayer, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Tom and Georgia Stokes Jackson. She was the widow of C.W. Ford and had been a longtime Manila resident before making her home in Paragould. She was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Paragould.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Betty Ford, of St. Louis, Mo.; a daughter and sister-in-law, Pat and Charles Bradford, of Paragould; a sister, Opal Trout of Connersville, Ind.; 10 grandchildren, Faye Colley and Kerry Ford of St. Louis, Mo.; Marveline Shrable, Henry Ford and Mark Ford, all of Manila: Raymond Posey of Chicago, Ill.; Linda Hensely of Blytheville, Chuck Bradford of Bald Knob, Darlynda Penn of Jonesboro and Brett Bradford of Paragould; 32 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, J.C. Ford, a step-son, Charlie Ford; six sisters, Mary Ellen Jackson, Bernice Wagoner, Lou Emma Jackson, Ruby Stevens, Lora Barnhart, and Lena Kiesner, and a brother, Daniel Jackson.

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. today (Tuesday) at the Howard Funeral service Chapel in Manila with Rev. James Warbington and Rev. Wayne Clements officiating. Burial will be in the Manila Cemetery.
