Barbara Pender Long, 68, of Romeoville, formerly of Blytheville, died Wednesday, April 7, 2004, at her residence.

Born in Armorel, she was a homemaker and a member of Bethany Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Long of the home; five daughters, Valerie Squalente of Eustis, Fla., Rena Pender of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Janell Medling of Jackson, Mo., Shannon Pender of Osceola and Tanda Hatfield of Mayflower; a son, Marlin Pender of Steele, Mo.; two brothers, Tom Jones ob Blytheville and Lonnie Jones of Leachville; three sisters, Lucy Copeland and Linda Plunkett, both of Blytheville, and Jerelean Moody of Grand Prairie, Texas; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Bea Jessie Martin Jones.

The funeral was held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Chapel of Cobb Funeral Home in Blytheville with Rev. Gary Hyde and Rev. Kenny Davis officiating. Burial was in Dogwood Cemetery.
