Terry Hal Peaster - Lake City

Terry Hal Peaster, 49, of Lake City, died Monday, March 1, 2004, at Lake City. Born in Jonesboro, he had lived most of his life in the Jonesboro area. He was a carpenter and served in the Army. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Peaster and Brandon Peaster, both of Jonesboro; a daughter, Teri Peaster of Lake City; his mother, Minnie Gandy Peaster of Lake City; two sisters, Brenda Pyle of Jonesboro and Amanda Riley of Brookland; and six grandchildren, Branden Peaster, Brittni Peaster, Rustin Peaster, Cody Peaster, Myranda Peaster and Triston Peaster.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Peaster, and a sister.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Harold Anderson and Rev. Greg Anderson officiating. Burial was in Jonesboro Memorial Park.

Active pallbearers were Tony McMurry, Ernie McDaniel, Johnny Hattenhauer, Ronald Tyler, Buddy Gandy and Pete Gandy.

Honorary pallbearers were Jim Boyer, Jim Pyle, Terry Riley and Bob Sloan.
