Oscar Lee Moore - Blytheville

Oscar Lee Moore, 65, of Blytheville died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2004, at his residence. Born in Wynne, he worked in auto salvage and sales and was a member of Mary's Chapel Church in Huffman.

Survivors include his wife, Maxine Moore of Blytheville; three daughters, Candy Bates and Karen Holmes, both of Gosnell, and Leighann Hatley of Lubert, Texas; five sons, Kevin Jones, Justin Moore and Danny Moore, all of Blytheville, Randy Moore of Manila and Glenn Burress of Gosnell; three sisters, Barbara Pierce and Maudie Robinson, both of Blytheville, and Betty West of Buffalo, Ill.; a brother, Jim Moore of Georgia; 14 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie E. and Hallie Matthewson Moore.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville with Danny Smith officiating. Burial was in Sandy Ridge Cemetery at Burdette.
