Bernice Melville - Monette

Willa Bernice Melville, 85, of Monette died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Poplar Bluff, Mo., she lived in Moentte for 53 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Monette United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and Monette Garden Club.

Survivors include a son, David Melville of Magnolia; a daughter, Cheryl Pasmore of Jonesboro; a sister, Leta Grooms of Monette; four grandchildren, Jay Trebilcock and Emily Pasmore, both of Jonesboro, Amy Melville of Seattle and Jennifer Bushaw of Springdale.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William David Melville and her parents, Frank and Stella Sutton.

The funeral will e held at 10 a.m. today (Tuesday) at Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Monette with Rev. Jerry Reed officiating. Burial will be in Monette Cemetery.
