Geraldine Dunigan - Jonesboro

Geraldine Dunigan, 64, of Jonesboro died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2003, at her home. Born in Prospect, La., she had lived in Jonesboro and Black Oak most of her life. She was retired from St. Bernard's Medical Center and Brown's Shoe Manufacturing in Leachville and was a member of Apple Hill Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son, Kenny Dunigan of Jonesboro; a daughter, Denise Dunigan of Paragould; a sister, Fran Branton of Boyce, La.; a brother, Alan Holston of Winter Haven, Fla.; and five grandchildren, Brandy Dunigan, Jared Dunigan, Jacob Dunigan, Bailee Dunigan and Kaleb Dunigan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Dunigan Sr.; a son, James C. Dunigan Jr.; her parents; and three sisters.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Gregg Funeral Home with Eddie Dunigan officiating. Burial was in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Sammie Lewis, Jerry Dulaney, Dickie Pace, Danny Dunigan, Jerry Reed and Dennis Davis.

Honorary pallbearers were Jerry Gibson and Elmer Hamilton.
