Linda Ann Childress Brandon - Leachville

Linda Ann Childress Brandon, 58, of Leachville, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2003, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Blytheville. Born at Monette, she was the daughter of the late W.K. Childress and had been a lifelong Leachville area resident. She was a graduate of Leachville High School and was retired from customer service for Florafax and the Redbook companies. She was also a member of the Leachville First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Kenny Brandon of Leachville; a son, Kent Hendershott of Leachville; her mother, Elsie Childress of Leachville; a brother, William Kent Childress, III of Champaign, Ill.; a step-son, Terry Brandon of Jonesboro; a step-daughter, Missy Weaver of Jonesboro; and four grandchildren.

The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Howard Funeral Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Donnie Hudson officiating. Burial was in the Leachville Cemetery.
