Marvin Ocdell Fleeman - St. Louis, Mo.

Marvin Odell Fleeman, 75, of St. Louis, Mo., died April 2, 2003. He was born in Manila, the son of John and Nora Fleeman. He lived and attended school in the Shady Grove School. He lived in Manila until he went into the military. He served in the Army during World War II. After serving in the military, he lived in the St. Louis area and maintained a summer home at Mt. Home.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Maxine Fleeman. He was the father of Gail (Joe) Welsch, Ray (Virginia) Fleeman, Karen (Daryl) Carpenter and Alan (Darcell) Fleeman. Grandchildren are Christine (Michael) Foster, Jeff Welsch, Bradley and Brittany Fleeman, Tyler Carpenter, Jessica and Christopher Fleeman. Other survivors include his sisters Bessie Wilbanks and Mary Martin.

He was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

The funeral was held at Shepard Funeral Chapel on April 7. Interment was at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
