Jimmy D. Mangrum - Rantoul, Ill.

Jimmy D. Mangrum, 56, of Rantoul, Ill., died Monday, April 21, 2003, at Provena Covenant Medical Center. He had worked for Meadowgold for 24 years in Champaign, Ill. He was a member of Bethany Park Christian Church. He had served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. He was a 1965 graduate of Monette High School.

He is survived by his wife, Sheryl Mangrum, of the home; a son, Keith Mangrum, of High Ridge, Mo.; two daughters, Alicia Severtins of Rantoul, Ill., and Natasha Stumpf of Mokena, Ill.; a sister, Cooky Collins, of Jonesboro; and one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert J. and Marvline Mangrum.

The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Monette with Rev. Mike Tabor officiating. Burial was in the Caraway Cemetery with Gregg Funeral Home of Monette in charge of arrangements.
