Mary Louise McMurry - Lake City

Mary Louise McMurry, 78, of Lake City, died Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal belief.

Survivors include her husband, H.J. McMurry of Lake City; two sons, Anthony J. McMurry of Lake City and David Scott McMurry of Jonesboro; nine grandchildren, Anthony J. McMurry Jr., Brody J. McMurry, Amber McMurry, Andrea McMurry, Nellie McMurry, Misty Casey, Nikki McMurry, Britt Johnson and Randy Griggs; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Della Gardner, her father, Henry Jones, and her stepfather, George Gardner.

A graveside service was will be held at 2 p.m. today (Tuesday) in Lake City Cemetery with Harold Anderson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home of Lake City.

Active pallbearers are Dwight Dunkerson, Danny White, Pete Fisher, Jerry McAfee, Pete Ross and Terry Hal.

Honorary pallbearers are Chason Hellenthal, Aaron Hellenthal, Brandon Hellenthal and Derek Casey.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. today (Tuesday) at the funeral home.
