Martha Louise DuBar - Jonesboro

Martha Louise DuBar of Jonesboro, 74, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2003, at her residence. She was born in Black Oak on March 30, 1927, the daughter of John Wesley and Elizabeth Boyd.

She was a homemaker and had spent most of her life in the Monette and Jonesboro areas. She was a member of the Lake City Pentecostal Church.

She is survived by six sons, Gene DuBar, Ed DuBar, Gerald DuBar, Elbert DuBar, all of Jonesboro, Vernon DuBar of Lake City and Earnie DuBar of Sydney, Australia; a daughter, Gloria Brown of Jonesboro; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Leon Wesley Boyd.

The funeral was held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Roller-Farmers Union Chapel with Brother Harold Anderson officiating. Interment was at Crossroads Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Eric Catron, Wayne French, Brandon Carner, Jason Jernigan, Wesley DuBar and Ryan Anderson.
