Ruby Rosetta (Bush) Craig - Monette

Ruby Rosetta (Bush) Craig, 87, of Monette, died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2002, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was a homemaker, member of Delfore Methodist Church, member of Monette Senior Citizens, and had lived in the Monette area most of her life.

She is survived by three sons, gene Craig of Camden, Bill Craig of Monette, and Gary Craig of Hattiesburg, Miss.; two daughters, Kaye Ray of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Raye Finley of Monette; seven grandchildren, Tom Craig, Lorri Devereaux, Michael Ray, Marti Ladd, Rusty Craig, Leigh Craig and Mickey Craig, and eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Gathright of Benton Harbor, Mich.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Craig, and a brother David Bush, and two sisters, Nadine Morris and Ollie Maude Nettles.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Monette First Baptist Church with Rev. Captain Lovell officiating. Burial was in Macey Cemetery near Monette. Gregg Funeral Home of Monette was in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers were Michael Ray, Rusty Craig, Mickey Craig, Tom Craig, Jim Watson, and Jack Gathright. Honorary pallbearers were John Morris, John Gathright, Bill Harrell, Dr. Dennis Parten, Ronnie Bruce, and Jim Goodman.
