Billie Jo Kerr - Monette

Billie Jo Kerr, 80, of Monette, died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2002, at Monette Manor. She was a homemaker, member of the Monette Assembly of God Church and had lived in the Monette area most of her life.

She is survived by a brother, Fred Clark of Marmaduke; two sons, Eldon Kerr of Monette and Fred Kerr of Greenville, Calif.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Fred Clark, Sr., and Vastie Clark, and her husband, Ernest Kerr, and a son, Henry B. Kerr, three brothers and one sister.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Monette with Rev. Terry Miller officiating. Burial was in the Monette Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.

Pallbearers were Wayland McClelland, Billy Ray Tilley, Leroy Smithee, Franklin Smithee, Don Sims, Josh Barnes and W.T. Bibb.
