Ruby Sipes - Mt. View

Ruby Sipes, 82, of Mountain View, died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002, at White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was a homemaker and a member of Childress Assembly of God Church. She had lived at Mountain View for five years, formerly of Monette.

She is survived by a son, Donald Rose of Mountain View; three step-sons, Jerry Sipes of Conway, Ronnie Sipes of Eaton Rapids, Mich., and Jake Sipes of Paragould; a step-daughter, Sharon George of Paragould; four sisters, Roma Lea Rackley of Pontiac, Mo., Sylvia Dean Hicks of Hutchison, Kansas, Mary Jane Robertson of West Ford, and Anna Mae Cullison of Topeka, Kan., several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Cecil Ross and Eugene D. Sipes; a brother, Marshall Clayton; two sisters, Bessie McGonigal and Martha Jones; and a son, Ronald L. Ross.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, at Tucker Cemetery in Gatewood, Mo., with Rev. Wayne Holmes officiating. Gregg Funeral Home of Monette is in charge of arrangements.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
