Laviller Agness Graves - Bakersfield, Calif.

Laviller Agnes Graves, 91, widow of William Graves, of Bakersfield, Calif., formerly of Leachville, died Thursday, Sept. 5, 2002, at Memorial Hospital in Bakersfield. Born at Knobel, she was the daughter of John and Janie Pope Downum and had been a California resident since 1947. She attended the Free Will Baptist Church in Shafter, Calif.

Survivors include two sons, Sidney Charles Graves and William McKinley Graves, both of Bakersfield, Calif.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A graveside funeral was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Leachville Cemetery with Rev. Doug Applegate officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Leachville.
