Clifford Wiley, 69, of West Plains, Mo., died Sunday, June 2, 2002, at his home. He was the son of Quitman King and Mildred Dodds Wiley. On May 30, 1959, he was married at Manila to Linda Jackson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean Conflict. Before his retirement, he had been a truck driver and operated Wiley Residential Care and Wiley's Recreation for many years. He was a member of United Freewill Baptist Church of West Plains.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Wiley of the home; four children, Cindy Horton and husband Rick of Flippin, Steve Wiley and wife Kathy of Elk Creek, Mo., Paul Wiley of West Plains, and Todd Wiley and wife Traci of Pomona, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Lisa Horton, Jonathan Horton, Kevin Horton, Jeanne Sue Walker, Erica Wiley, John Wiley and Jayden Wiley; a stepgrandchild, Stephanie Palmer; two great-grandchildren, Justin Horton and Quintin Walker; two sisters, Edna Burdnett of Fort Worth, Texas, and Louise Duncan of Monette; his mother-in-law, Anna Mae Jackson of West Plains; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Johnny Wiley; and his father-in-law, Dewey Jackson.

Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, at Oak Lawn Cemetery, with Rev. Glenn Murray officiating under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home of West Plains. Military honors were provided by the Missouri Military Funeral Honors Program and Veterans Honor Guard of West Plains.
