Theodore Lester Stone - Manila

Theodore Lester Stone, 79 of Manila, died Friday, March 1, 2002, at his home. Born at Searcy, he was the son of the late William and Bertha Stone and had been a resident of the Big Lake area of Manila for most of his life. He was a retired commercial fisherman and was of the Pentecostal faith.

He is survived by his wife, Robbie Holt Stone of the home; six sons, Bill Stone, Danny Stone, Nickey Stone, Jimmy Stone, Tony Stone, Lee Roy Stone, all of Manila; three daughters, Glenda Bolt, Ruby Hinklin, Betty Sharp, all of Manila; two sisters, Clara Land of St. Louis, Melva Newcomb of Coloma, Mich.; 23 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bennie Stone, a sister, Ellie Bollinger and his grandson, James Galloway.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Monday in Howard Funeral service Chapel at Manila with Greg Stull officiating. Burial was in the Manila Cemetery.
