Margaret Georgia Miller - Lake City

Margaret Georgia Miller, 86, of Lake City, died Dec. 14, 2001, at her home. Born at Hornersville, she was the daughter of the late Richard George and Ida Crews Hillhouse, and had lived many years in Michigan before moving to Lake City in 1984. She was the widow of Thomas Miller.

She is survived by three sons, James Miller of Bossier City, La., Gene Miller of Goldsboro, N.C., and Mark Miller of Lake City; two daughters, Lavonne Pelton of Coloma, Mich., and Ida Beth Sanders of Lake City; two brothers, R.G. Hillhouse of Manila and Everett Hillhouse of Caraway; four sisters, Katherine Phillips of Manila, Bert McElrath of Newport, Jean Edwards and Velma Wilson, both of Manila; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Miller, and a son, Tommy Miller.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila. Burial was in the Manila Cemetery.
