Odis B. Harmon - Lafe

Odis B. Harmon, 75, of Lafe, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born May 25, 1926, at Campbell. He was an electrician for Monroe Auto Equipment Co. He was a member of Gainsville Church of Christ. He was a World War II Veteran serving with the Navy Seabees.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel Harmon of Lafe; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Danny Harmon of Cosby, Tenn., Michael and Becky Harmon of Mammoth Springs, and Rick and Tammy Harmon of Paragould; a daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Robert Johns of Paragould; a brother, Ron Harmon of Hooker; three sisters, Wanda Duncan of Arnold, Mo., Betty Sue McDonald of St. Charles, Mo., Linda Tate of Leachville10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gladys Viola (Linhart) Harmon and Fred Lee Harmon.

The funeral was held at 3 p.m. Monday at Gainesville Church of Christ. Burial was in Gainesville Cemetery in Paragould under the direction of Heath Funeral Home.
