Lily E. Shockley - Cedar Hill, Mo.

Lily Elizabeth Shockley, 82, of Cedar Hill, Mo., died Nov. 14, 2001, at Cedar Hill Terrace in Cedar Hill. She was born on March 7, 1919, at Eaton County, Arkansas, the daughter of the late George Alvin and Ada Josephine (Nee King) Nunnally. She was a former Manila school teacher. Before her retirement she was a teacher for the Northwest R-I School District. She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church.

In October of 1940, she married William Thomas Shockley, who survives. Other survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Sue and Jimmy Schutt of Memphis, Tenn., and Billie Shockley of House Springs, Mo.; a grandchild, Christian Schutt; her siblings, Pauline Wright of Wynne, and Eugene Nunnally.

She was preceded in death by three siblings, Osee Nunnally, Leslie Nunnally, and Hazel Crumm.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, with Rev. Paula Eschenbrenner officiating. Interment was at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill.
