Gladys Frei - Blytheville

Gladys Frei, 82, of Blytheville died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2001, at her home. Born in Fulton County, she was a retired employee of Burge's Shoe Center and was a member of the 13th and Main Street Church of Christ.

Survivors include four sisters, Rosetta Duncan of Pangburn, Mae Dawson of Caraway, Marie Barham of Concord, Calif., and Melba Elmore of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; and a granddaughter, Tara Yonker of San Diego.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Frei, a daughter, a brother and two grandchildren.

The funeral was held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Cobb Funeral Home in Blytheville with Craig Lindsey officiating. Burial was in the Caraway Cemetery.
