Sgt. Terry Neal Rogers - Leachville

Sgt. Terry Neal Rogers, 30, of Leachville, died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2001, at his residence. He was a truck driver, protestant, Army veteran of Desert Storm, and a member of HHC. Company of the 875th Eng BN. Of Arkansas National Guard. He had lived in the Leachville and Monette area most of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Loretta Rogers of the home; three sons, Bryan Rogers, Jeremy Rogers, and Tyler Rogers all of the home; a half-brother, Timmy Terry of Hernando, Miss.; his mother, Barbara Terry of Hernando, Miss.; his paternal grandparents Ray and Glendene Rogers of Leachville; and his maternal grandmother Virginia Hendershott of Manila; and an aunt and uncle, Erwin and Wilma Cupp of Leachville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Neal Rogers.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Gregg Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Finley officiating. Burial was in the Leachville Cemetery with Gregg Funeral Home of Monette in charge.

Pallbearers were Chris McMinn, Dwight Clements, Charles Beckman, Dustin McLamore, Cliff Cupp, and Ricky Rogers. Honorary pallbearers were David Hendershott and Ronald Hendershott.
